Yes! Every new account includes a full 7-day free trial with complete access to every feature. No credit card charged during the trial.
How much does it cost?
Flip Ledger Translator is $6.99/month after your free trial. One simple plan — no tiers, no limits on which features you can use.
Do I need my own AI account?
Yes. You connect your own Anthropic and/or OpenAI account (a small, separate cost paid directly to them, not to us) so translation and voice features work. We walk you through it step by step in Settings.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes! Flip Ledger Translator works right in your phone's browser — no app store needed. Open theflipledgertranslator.com and add it to your home screen to use it like an app.
How does the live conversation work?
Start a conversation, share the QR code or link, and the other person joins on their own phone with no account needed. Each of you speaks in your own language and sees the conversation translated instantly.
What does "Explain This To Me" do?
When you translate a document, this gives you a short, plain-language summary of what the document is, what it's asking you to do, any deadlines or amounts owed, and what happens if you ignore it — alongside the full translation.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your data is stored securely with encryption in transit and at rest, and your saved API keys are encrypted and never shown again after you save them. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I invite someone I talk to regularly?
Yes. From Contacts, you can invite someone by email to an ongoing translated conversation thread — they get a free account limited to that conversation, with no subscription required on their end.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription & Billing. Your access continues until the end of your billing period. See our Cancellation Policy for details.
