We saw the same problem over and over.

While building tools for small business owners, we kept meeting people who spoke little or no English — trying to understand a doctor's letter, a lease, a school form, a notice from the city. Translation apps could swap the words, but nobody could tell them what the words actually meant for their life: what they owed, what deadline they were facing, or what would happen if they missed it.

"Translating a word for word isn't the same as understanding a bill that says you have 10 days before your water gets shut off."

So we built Flip Ledger Translator around real situations, not just words: a live conversation you can have with anyone by scanning a QR code, a camera that reads signs and letters instantly, and a document translator that doesn't just translate — it explains, in plain language, what you're being asked to do.

Who We Are

We're part of The Flip Ledger LLC, a small team building practical tools for people who are usually overlooked by software built for someone else. Flip Ledger Translator exists because understanding your own paperwork shouldn't depend on how well you read English.
